When I used to accompany Irv to the Health & Fitness Fairs at Valley Forge Convention Center He would always wear latex gloves when shaking hands. He always made sure that he was never infected. I would always be his personal security. I would always dress like a hitman. Irv would always have me carry a phoney piece so people would think I was armed. I would take a bullet for him.

I do remember one time that I physically knocked a KKK member out when he was causing trouble. When it came to the KKK members I never asked permission I just did it. Couldn't take any chances with Irv's life.

The Health and Fitness Fair was great. All the giants. Irv Homer, Dr. Jim Corea, Bernie Herman, Dominic Quinn. There was more talent in that room than most of the rest of the country. Those were the days.
