Down by 6 going into the 9th and winning by 2 in the 10th??!! Wow. They still need a good closer though along with more dependable bats.

They did it again with a little luck and that is about all. I turned the game off last night and missed the win.

One hit through 9 innings? Bad. Lee was traded to Texas. Another wasted Halladay effort.

Hey they won. I'll take it at this point. I don't know if you guys are wathching Pat the bat, but he just came off a 300 average and I think today he hit a home run to put the Giants ahead.

Burrell for MVP. He stunk in Tampa and he will stink again. I think the Phillies will trade Werth before the trade deadline. Something has to be done to shake up this team. They are trying to unload Ibanez but nobody wants him. Barry Bonds sits at home waiting for the phone to ring.

Phillies lose 3 of 4 to the lowly Cubs. Last nights game a blowout. I think they're done.

The Phils might be trading for the Astros Roy Oswalt. They would have to pick up his contract for $16 million next year. Oh wait. They could have just kept Cliff Lee for $9million this year. They unloaded a good pitcher for next to nothing and are now looking to trade for a good pitcher. The bullpen stinks. The GM, Amaro stinks. No offense. The team is dead. Bring in Barry Bonds. They need somebody to stir things up.

Moyer might be done too. Might need surgery that could end his career. Looks like he's done for the season. Hate to see him go out this way. Hitting coach Milt Thompson was fired today. I guess its his fault players forgot how to hit. Looks like the team quit on Charlie. He must have yelled at them or hurt their feelings somehow. When is his job on thin ice? Amaro is trying hard for trade of Astros Oswalt. Don't want to beat a dead horse but keeping Lee would have made no need to have to overpay for a new pitcher. Also providing team with awful bullpen earns Amaro a trip to the unemployment line.

Vance Whirley pitched the 9th inning today and will be sent back to triple A when they restart Jay Happ. I want to see a lot more of this kid before the Phillies lose him.

The Phillies fired hitting coach Milt Thompson and then won 3 straight. I guess it was Thompsons fault they were losing.

What do you think about the new trade? That may have been a steal we shall see.

It was his first game as a Phillie, he has to get rid of the jitters. Steve Carlton lost to Jamie Moyer no big deal.

Oswalt is a good pitcher. He'll get his wins. I think the National league is terrible. The Yankees, Tampa, Texas, Boston, Detroit, Chicago and the Angels got to be the top teams. San Diego is the best in the National league. I don't see the Phillies doing it this year. Where is Rollins? Utley has had a lost season. Werth will be gone. That Domonic Brown will be good. Hamels has pitched good but can't win a game.

Once again Hamels can't get a win and we lost Ryan Howard. Its good to see the back up players doing well.
