There are some 60,000 kids in Phila. public, summer school program, costing about $40million. Waste of money. Nothing but an expensive baby sitting service on your dollar. The regular school year isn't enough time for these kids to learn?

Just imagine if the schools were as tough as when we were in school, I think the number of kids in summer school would be over 100,000. What seems to be the problem?

How many of those kids actually want to be in school and learn? Not  many. I'm sure.

Its a babysitting service to keep the hooligans off the street and out of trouble and to provide jobs to the teachers union. These people just spend, spend, spend. Did you see the news story about food camp for minorities or some damn thing. It was summer camp for minority kids that would teach them what foods were good to eat and what foods were not good to eat. Can you believe that? I'm sure the taxpayer was footing the bill. Aside from it being RACIST against whites, aren't parents supposed to be the ones to teach the kids what to eat? Oh, thats right. Moms too busy with her legs up in the air and Dad is on the playground shooting hoops. My friend owns a 7-Eleven in the 'Hood. The black kids at dinnertime come in and buy a hot dog, a bag of chips, a soda and if there is any money left over, spend it all on candy. Thats dinner in the "Hood!

Only a couple. Lot of people come in the store and lots of cops for free coffee. Shoplifting can be a problem. He watches the kids like a hawk.
