The senate backed troop funding and rejected domestic programs. Why do you think that is? How long have we been at war? I can't remember at this point.

More funding for education? When will these people learn that throwing money at education will not make students educated. I hate these bills that come with these little add ons or attachments that have nothing to do with the main bill. They sneak things in like that.
People want a timetable for success or failure. To say troops will leave by next July 4th, will just prepare the enemy for July 5th.
This war in Afghanistan, Obamas, not Bushs' anymore is a losing cause. Get out as soon as possible. Make some kind of treaty so neither side loses face. This crap never ends. I think this is the USA's longest war ever. I think.

I know one thing about the war in Afghanistan, it is starting to add up the body count. The new General said we will see more deaths as we root out the insurgents. I have news for him and that is he better get out ASAP. I am no General but I know a losing cause when I see one.

Can you imagine if the body count started to add up like Vietnam? Numbers like 1000 dead in a week or 50,000 total? I just heard Sestak on Fox News saying WE HAVE TO SEAL THE BORDER BETWEEN PAKISTAN AND AFGHANISTAN. WTF! Why don't you start with our own border. Dopes.

Where is Bruce Springsteen and the other leftists complaining about the Afghan war? The silence is deafening. I guess they're OK with it now.

They're OK with it because their boy is in charge.

Have no fear we will be out of Iraq in a few months. God only knows where we will be going next.

I just recently read a story about the Pentagons plan to attack Iran. A heavy attack with bombers and cruise missiles against two dozen sites. Sounded kind of simple. It was an attack like the one that began on Baghdad at the beginning of the Iraq war. They said it would last a few days then be over. Here we go again. An easy sounding war to promote to the sheep.
With unemployment the way it is, we have to find something for all those troops to do when they come home.

We should be doing all we can to make sure that an attack on Iran does not happen. This will not be a cake walk no matter what you think.

The US military is stretched too thin as it is. Maybe the pols want to deliberately weaken them by overwork? Wouldn't put it past those sleazeballs in DC.

The pentagon is going to lay off thousands of private contractors in the next few months. That is going to drive up unemployment numbers before the election. I thought Barry Soetaro said the economy was doing better? Well it is not what Ben said the other day. So who do you believe? I would say believe your 401-k.

BTW: Russia and China are buying oil from Iran and have ships in the area, what will happen if we strike Iran? I have a real good guess.

As our troops pull out of Iraq, there will still be 50,000 there, the number of independent contractors is very high plus paid mercenaries and security forces. Most people in this country are under the impression that war will be over. It won't.
Barry Soetaro. Was that Obamas name before he became a muslim?
